At Brawley & Gilbert Orthodontics we are dedicated to the care of all of our patients and their orthodontic needs. The members of our staff have been with the practice for over many years and are highly qualified. We work closely with Dr. Brawley and Dr. Gilbert to ensure that your experience is personal, and that you receive the best care and support throughout your treatment.
April is originally from Auburn and graduated from Auburn University. April joined the practice in 2004 as the financial coordinator. She enjoys working with each and every family to create a payment plan that works best for each family’s individual needs. April is married to Chris, and together they have 2 boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves watching her boys play baseball.
Peter has worked with Dr. Brawley since 2004. Peter works in the clinic as well as the lab. He is very much a morning person, so he’s the person most likely to high five sleepy-eyed teenagers. When he’s not at the office he can be found with his family, keeping bees, taking photographs, or running through the woods!
Sharon is originally from New Orleans and graduated from LSU (Geaux Tigers)! Sharon works in the clinic and assists Dr. Brawley and Dr. Gilbert with bondings and wire changes. Sharon joined the practice for a second time in 2008. Sharon is married to Dan, and together they have 2 boys. She and her husband enjoy biking and the outdoors.
Katrina is a Birmingham area native. She worked here as a clinical assistant from 1996 until her oldest daughter was born in 1999. During this time, she completed UAB’s dental hygiene program. She has rejoined our practice as a part-time clinical assistant in 2012, which gives her the opportunity to spend time with her husband and three children.
Jessica is originally from Ohio and served in the US Army. After she and her husband left the Army, they moved to Birmingham in 1998. She worked with Dr. Brawley as a clinical assistant for two years prior to the birth of her two daughters. She rejoined our staff in 2012 as a part-time clinical assistant.
